Following on the heels of yet another successful year, in which we saw all curling levels from Little Rocks to Seniors enjoy plenty of ice-time, social events and bonspiels, I extend a sincere welcome to all of you in anticipation of an even better 2007-08.

However, to make this wish a reality it will be necessary that we all pull together as either volunteers on the executive, assisting with club events, or donating time as needed. Last year’s success did not come by chance but through the dedicated efforts of many individual members. For example, last year’s executive foresaw the need to purchase a new ICE KING which will undoubtedly alleviate some of our ice concerns.

Also, as a reminder to us and a thank-you to them, I encourage club members to support the sponsors advertised throughout our phone book, as they continue to support us.

I look forward to meeting all of you during the year and to working with this year’s executive to make our 152nd year another successful one.
